If you found the most recent Camry exciting, think again. After being launched in January at the Detroit Auto Show, the 2018 Toyota Camry showed off a bold new design and promising tech and safety advancements. It also promised to be more fun to drive—a fact that the review gauntlet recently put to the test.

By all accounts, Toyota succeeded—and in ways we hadn’t expected. Three powertrains are available—a four-cylinder on base trims, a six-cylinder (V6) on higher trims, and a hybrid model. Insanely, all three of these offer class-topping power and efficiency. For example, the base engine is the most powerful in its segment with 203 horsepower, 28 mpg city, and 39 mpg on the highway. That engine seems to be the reviewer’s favorites, and complimented by comfortable, engaging ride, it’s truly a blast to drive.

While it won’t be arriving until the fall, that doesn’t mean you can’t contact our Toyota dealership in Chicago, IL now with your questions. If you’re interested in test driving this car when it arrives, we can call you as soon as we get word.
